The  ScubaPal  Advantage
Discover Scuba Diving (Experience Program).
This experience program gives you the opportunity to learn the basics of scubadiving under professonal direct supervision without the compromise or demands that a certification course involves.

The Discover Scuba Diving experience program consist of a two hours theoretical-practical class where you will learn the different parts of the scubadiving gear, the buddy system, underwater communication, procedures to be followed during the descend, as well as bottom time, ascend, surface and emergencies procedures.

The theoretical part of the class will take place at a Marina site and right after finishing this, you will move up to the next level, which are the inwater skills or practical part where you will actually perform a descend, as well as learn the proper breathing underwater technique, removal and replacement of the air source, the mask clearing procedure, the ascend, the inflation and deflation of the buoyancy device (life vest) and the proper and safe methods to get in and out of the water. All this will take place in the ocean by the dock where the water is shallow and its conditions are almost like those in a pool .

Once you finish your theoretical-practical class you will take the boat right on the same dock, and in just 10 minutes you will be in one of the most beautiful reefs in the Caribbean, with an average depth of just 15 feet.

There you will feel as you were born to live practicing scubadiving sorrounded by a big variety of tropical fish and colorfull reefs. And believe me, chances are that you will find out that you are a natural!

The dive will last aproximeatly 45 minutes and like on the class you will be directly supervised by me.

It´s important to keep in mind that your Discover Scuba Diving experience program can be credited towards a certification course as long as you take it on the same week. This is a plus, of course.

The cost of the basic Discover Scuba Diving experience program is USD$88 (this includes taxes, gear rental and boat transportation). Additional fees are $20 pesos (aprox. USD$2) for the reefs entrance required by the Mexican EPA Authorities, and USD$10 for a wet-suit rental –optional-.
Scuba Diver (certification program)
All the PADI certifications are valid worldwide and lifetime valid. Schedules of certification programs are flexible with previous agreement. There are two main options to choose from 1) The Scuba Diver. 2) The Open Water Diver

The PADI Scuba Diver certification is a pre-entry level certification with implies two inherent restrictions:

a) Every time you dive you must do it under direct supervision from a certified instructor and b) You must not dive deeper than 40 feet at this time. But then, this certification can be upgraded within the next 12 months of its completion to Open Water Diver certification, in which the above restrictions are removed.

The Scuba Diver program is a 2 days course with the following schedule:

 Day 1

- 3 hours in water session at the Marina site. (previous to the dives) - Prepare yourself by reading and studying of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, required to continue to day 2. You can either buy the manual or at no extra charge you can study using one of ours.

 Day 2

- 2 hours of academic session at the Marina site (previous to the dives). - 3 ½ hours for 2 dives on a reef.

The cost for the basic Scuba Diver certification program is USD$220 (includes taxes, gear rental, boat transportation). Additional fees are $20 pesos (aprox. USD$2) for the reefs entrance required by the Mexican EPA Authorities, USD$10 for a wet-suit rental –optional-. Plus we will take care of all the paperwork needed to grant you your very own Certification Card (CCARD), which PADI will send you home.

Open Water Diver (certification program)

The Open Water Diver certification program is a 4 days course with the next schedule:

 Day 1
